The American Heritage Girls are hosting "Butterfly Ballad" presented by Piccadilly Puppets on Friday, March 19 at 10:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall. Cost is $4/child; parents free. Special Needs 101 (March 11 from 7 to 8 PM in Room 109/111) is open to teachers and families of special-needs children, as well as anyone who would like to share the love of Jesus with these - His special kids! We'll look at the challenges for you and your child and how to properly recognize and respond. Sign up in the Foyer if you would like to attend. American Heritage Girls are hosting the HUGS program to collect homemade blankets and other newer items necessary to fill bags to benefit teens ages 12 to 18 at the Gwinnett Children's Shelter who have been removed from abusive or neglectful homes. AHG is requesting blankets for teen boys and girls with a suggested size of 55 to 60 inches. The blanket may be quilted, sewn, crocheted, knitted or no-sew polar fleece.
Items needed to fill the bags must be NEW and are: blankets, toothpaste tubes (no brushes needed), non-aerosol deodorants, no-show/ankle socks, stuffed animals, books, notebooks, journals, thin markers and/or colored pencils, packs of pens and/or mechanical pencils, puzzle books, decks of cards, watches, electronic games, radio with batteries, combs, hair brushes, shampoo, conditioner, small bar soap, chap stick, mouthwash, hair accessories and makeup bag with lipstick and polish.

If interested, be sure to grab an information packet from the literature rack (as well as homework assignments from the church office) and plan to attend the Sunday morning class that corresponds to the level you need:
