Community Ministry

We desire to touch the lives of people in our community, neighborhoods and cities where God has planted us. Our outreach programs aim to help people in the local community experience the truth and love of Jesus Christ. Community Outreach at Calvary Chapel Gwinnett is committed to offering opportunities to serve in the Lord's kingdom-building work.

Ways to Serve Others in the Community

These programs focus on outreach, ministry and activities within the local community and beyond in order to bring Jesus to those in need.

  • Global Media Outreach: Evangelical Christian Internet outreach ministry
  • HeartWarmers: Hospital, home visits and phone calls to those in need
  • Missions: Taking the Truth of God?s Word to people around the entire world
  • Prayer Team: We?d love to pray for you, or someone in need

  • Children's Ministry: A safe, loving environment for Nursery, Preschool and elementary children
  • Greeters: Begin a conversation with a church visitor
  • Library Ministry: A variety of Christian materials to those seeking a deeper knowledge of God
  • Media Ministry: Making God?s Word available through audio, video and the Internet
  • Meals Minstry: Meals to church members in times of need. Volunteer or request a meal
  • Ushers: Help churchgoers easily transition from a Sunday morning
  • Worship Team: Prepare hearts for receiving God?s Word
  • Youth Ministry: Small groups, concerts, and outreach for Middle and Senior High school students
